Our clients required a refinement to there existing hall and they wished for a staircase that would give the existing hall a large more open feeling of space.
To which we totally transformed the hall by removing arches,the old stairs which had a cupboard under the stair and we even replaced the stained glass windows with our fabulous cantilvered staircase as shown here.
Thestaircase is cantilevered from the wall using a timber stringer on the wall side and chromed metal spindles to carry the outer edge of the treads.
With the contrasting grey laqcuered finish we were able to make an unrecognisable transformation over 6 days including plastering and a new floor!!!

The white walls and grey contrasting staircase now take a seventies house and follow the new state of the art contemporary kitchen into the dated space.
